Views, Memos & Presentations

A board pack you can ask questions of.

Views, memos and presentations built by you and an agent, together. Every number in them opens. And each one is pinned to the model it was built on, so opening it later shows you what you believed then, and what has moved since.

Built together

You draft with an agent: what goes in, which numbers, what it says.

Every number opens

Click any figure and go down to its drivers, its definition and the data underneath. Nothing in the document is a picture of a number.

Talk to it in the room

Someone asks the question the pack does not answer. Ask the pack. It answers from the model behind it, while everyone is still looking at it.

Pinned to a moment

Every artefact records the model version it was built on. Open the October pack in March and October is what you get: same numbers, same assumptions.

And what changed since

One toggle re-runs the same document on today’s model and shows every figure that moved, and which assumption or actual moved it.

A window, not a photograph

The reason a pack goes stale is that it was copied out of the model. These are not copies. The document is a view onto model state, which is why a figure in it can still be interrogated a year later.

The web is model state, drawn the same on both sides of the frame. The frame is the document, and the line through a figure in it carries on past the edge, which is why that figure still opens a year later.

Send us the pack you build by hand. The interesting moment is when we open a number in it.
